Mixed Feelings

the new year is coming
how time really flies
the feeling is overwhelming
how i wished the hard feelings die

exactly 6 weeks left
departure draws near
my future i'd want to caress
i just hope it's a beautiful picture

i don't know what to expect
i'm scared of what will happen
i won't know how to react
when i leave this haven

at the same time i feel excitement
looking forward to a great experience
for many reasons
i'm still finding a way to seek clearance

somehow i wish time will stop
but at the same time continue moving
a new lifestyle to adopt
overall, i'm just filled with mixed feelings.

thank you for everything this year.
and many years to go!
