I miss it...

Went over to your place that day
I was thinking of what to say
And wondered if it will be the case
That I will get to see your pretty face

On the way there
I took a stroll
I prayed that you still care
And won't leave me in the cold

We started talking like nothing went wrong
I was glad it carried on
Although I was tired I stayed late
Even when I haven't ate

I had a lot I wanted to tell
But I didn't know how
When Dad called me on my cell
I decided it was now

Although I've said my piece
And felt slightly better
I still have things that I've missed
But does it matter?

I knew you felt weird
You thought I was insane
But I really meant every word
It was your understanding I wanted to obtain

I shall say some here
Since I don't know when I'll see you next
I hope you won't get freaked out with what you hear
For me, it won't be a piece of cake

I miss it when you tell me everything
I was the first to know
You just couldn't keep things in
But now that doesn't show

I miss it when we eat together
We would stuff ourselves
With the most delicious platter
And not care about anything else

I miss it when we walk along orchard
When we would happily shop
It didn't feel awkward
Even when I'm just too short

I miss it when we talk online
When I will be the first you contact
And I never decline
Even when all we did was crap

I miss it when you called me everyday
When we will talk on the phone
Till bedtime couldn't be delayed
Now, at night I feel so alone

I miss it when you came over
When we sat and ate ice-cream
We can first have dinner
And then stare at the TV screen

I miss it when we go for prata
When we would each order 2 plain
I would eat mine with sugar
And yours with your favorite curry chicken

I miss it when we talked about life
When we shared our thoughts
Things that was from deep down inside
All those can never be bought

I miss it when we were honest
When we told each other what's true
When speaking out minds was the easiest
Even when I tell it straight to you

I miss it when it wasn't so difficult
To know what you are really thinking
It's now like it's a tough nut to crack
Maybe my brain just isn't working

I miss it when we go to the movies
When we will share nachos and popcorn
We will be so comfortable in our seats
Laugh, cry and keep each other warm

I miss it when you laugh
When my lameness was too hard to take
It is always enough
To make my whole world shake

I miss it when you smile
When you brighten up my day
It makes me go wild
I want it to remain that way

I miss it when you walk beside me
When we stroll side by side
It makes my heart fill with glee
To know you are just beside

I miss it when you give me a hug
When I could feel your love
You would hug me so hard
That I could fly to the stars above

I miss it when you told me you love me
And gave me the assurance
Those words were just the key
To sustain my confidence

I miss it when I'm with you
When all my troubles seem to fade
Every moment is so valued
For the next time we meet, I can't wait

I miss it when I made myself clear
That it is you that I treasure
I shall now do my best for you my dear
To show you that I love you through the hours

Precious moments

I went back today
After so long
To the place I thought I'd decay
But it's somewhere that I belong

It's strange how things happen
Now that place's our connection
I really hope we can go further
That was why I asked for your number

I was glad you asked for mine
Obviously I didn't decline
Thanks for asking for my number
It shows you want to know me better

I was so happy to see you
It was so cool
To sit there and eat
All those delicious sweets!

I really enjoyed my time there
Really I swear!
I couldn't bear to leave
I wondered what else is there to give

Although time was little
I really treasured the moments
I hope the moments were longer
For us to share more comments

Tonight before I sleep
I will think of you guys
For the memories are mine to keep
Please know that I'm tired of the 'goodbye's

After hanging up last night
I wanted to tuck myself in tight
But all I did was lay there
And think about the feelings I have

You mentioned I love you
Yes I do
But I wouldn't know what to do
When I need to tell you what's true

Things are not what it seems
The truth is not what you see
I don't know if I should tell you
I don't even know how if I do

There are things I can't tell
I know very well
Because I won't want you to worry
About the burdens I carry

I'm afraid of what may happen
I don’t want your moods to be dampened
I hope things get better
As my life gets shorter

Where were you

Where were you
When I needed a shoulder
When I didn't know what to do
When the nights got colder

Where were you
When I wanted to see your face
You were that cruel
To leave me along in that place

Where were you
When I couldn't breathe
I couldn't move too
I mind wasn't at ease

Where were you
When I needed a friend
I thought it was cool
But a greeting you didn't even send

Where were you
When I needed a hug
I thought you were true
But are you, I shrug

Where were you
When I needed a hand to hold
Do you need a cue
For care and concern to show?

Where were you
When I needed help
I couldn't move
I couldn't even yell

Where were you
When I had expectations
Maybe I shouldn't
As I was filled with disappointments

So many questions
But no answers
All I know is you weren't there
When I my candle of hope faded

my stay

I cried every night
I was all alone
I wanted to give up the fight
How I wished I could go home

I'm finally home
After 14 long days
It's like surviving a war
How I'm amazed

It's funny that I feel this way
I miss those times
When you watch my every way
And told me eating chocolates was a crime

Doctors said I'll be okay
Nurses said I'll be fine
But will it really be that way?
Will I ever shine?

You told me to be strong
Not to be treat myself like I'm sick
But you're now the one who's wrong
To keep me in your grip

The more you control me
The more I’ll rebel
To be who I like to be
I don’t care if I'm unwell

You were my only friends
You were all that I had
Your passion I comprehend
You prevented me from going mad

You didn't mind taking care of me
You didn't mind helping me out
I counted the days till I can go free
But you told me not to count

You said the more I counted
The longer I was
You took away my frowns
You faded the cause

You are fantastic
You are great
You really didn't restrict
My future was yours to create

Now all I can say
Is that I really appreciate you
For making my stay
An experience so valued
